Our perfumes are wearable poetry, a collage of scents that become a story told on the skin.

I have been creating perfume for over 10 years and fragrance-obsessed for over 25. My one true love is the natural world (I am an earth witch, after all), and that shows up in my work. My perfumes use natural materials like essential oils, absolutes, enfleurage, co2 extracts, in-house tinctures and absolutes, and other aromatics to create scents that tell stories on skin.
As a trained mortician and mostly self-taught perfumer, my works tends to walk the liminal space between light and dark. My perfumes are classical and nuanced. For many, just a little goes a long way.
I am also a trained herbalist and sometimes use this in my work to create perfumed yet functional skincare.

All Curious Petals compositions are natural with the exception of the occasional synthetic animalic. This protects our animal friends from exploitation for the sake of scent. The percentage of naturals used is listed in the shop for each perfume.
Natural materials evolve over time, so you are quite literally wearing living poetry when you wear Curious Petals. Because natural materials are from the earth and not made in a lab, batch variance is to be expected.
Sometimes, I create perfumes with materials that are only available for a limited period of time or that are so rare that they cannot be purchased again. These perfumes are offered to Secret Society members in the Private Reserve.
